Our journey started in 2008 when two young entrepreneurs dreamed big. Wouter van Waning (then an account manager at a telecom provider) and Folkert van der Zee (a call center supervisor) had a common goal - to change the world of lead generation.

Wouters problem: Low quality appointments

Wouter, with his team of account managers, had the challenge of finding new customers. He noticed that account managers are at their best during sales conversations at the table, but that there was also a major problem. The account managers had little to none appointments scheduled with potential new customers, and the appointmetns they did have did not meet expectations. .

Folkert's challenge: Dissatisfied clients
Folkert, on the other hand, was responsible for the team of call center agents and telecom projects. He realized that it was very difficult to satisfy telecom providers, because there was constant hassle about the quality of the agreements and the price.

A Chance Encounter: Identify a Gap
Over a beer-fueled discussion one evening, Folkert and Wouter saw an opportunity.

This is how LeadWijzer was founded in 2009. With the aim of making high quality appointments in the telecom market in a completely unique way. This turned out to be the start of a challenging journey towards the BastLeads formula.

TO EXPAND

Fast forward to 2020, our proven marketing concept expanded its reach beyond telecom. We introduced PrintLeads, ITLeads, FleetLeads, and CoffeeLeads in the Netherlands, all following the same successful marketing concept. For our premium clients, we delivered over 30,000 high quality appointments.
